Joint Admission Program and Partnership Agreements

The Joint Admission Program is limited to students who are pursuing an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Arts and Science, or Associate of Arts in Teaching degree, in compliance with the Illinois Articulation Agreement, and is not intended to replace the normal articulation agreements already existing between University of Illinois and community colleges. Instead, it focuses on advising and socializing students to ease the transition between the two-year and four-year college.

Students who choose to enter into a joint admission program with University of Illinois Springfield are entitled to receive academic advising each semester from University of Illinois Springfield and invitations to social and cultural activities.

University of Illinois Springfield currently has joint admission agreements with many Illinois community colleges and partnership agreements for University of Illinois Springfield online programs with community colleges across the United States.
