Athletic Training On campus *Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.70 and a 3.0 GPA in Prerequisite Courses (minimum grade of ā€œCā€ in each course)

*50 hours of documented clinical observation/experience under a certified athletic trainer within 2 years prior to program application. Hours obtained under the supervision of a physical therapist DO NOT count unless the individual is dual credentialed as an AT and the hours were obtained in a traditional athletic training facility or field setting, not in an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Please use the ATH Observation Form to record your hours

*Evidence of current CPR/AED Certification for the Healthcare Professional (American Heart Association preferred)

*Evidence of current First Aid Certification or equivalent

Three Letters of Recommendation
*Two semesters of anatomy and physiology with labs

*One course in general psychology

*One course in physiology of exercise

*One course in biomechanics or kinesiology

*One course in nutrition

*One introductory health course

*One course in statistics

*One course of chemistry

*One course of physics
