The Office of Engaged Learning (OEL) provides inclusive and relevant high-impact opportunities and engaged learning experiences that align with UIS students’ diverse interests and needs. Engaged learning experiences develop a student’s knowledge, technical and professional skills, and abilities that relate to professional, cultural, social, civic education, and career readiness. Additionally, OEL instructors and staff develop partnerships with campus, community, and international stakeholders by collaborating with those interested in facilitating 21st Century U.S. and international engaged learning opportunities.
