LESĀ 563. International Criminal Law. 4 Hours.

In this class students will address both substantive international criminal law (the crimes committed ? such as slavery, crimes against humanity, genocide) and its enforcement mechanisms (the institutions ? international criminal tribunals and courts, international treaty enforcement mechanisms). Students will also interrogate the legitimacy of international criminal sanctions and address the political ramifications of criminal sanctions across national borders.
